I value counseling’s ability to provide a safe space where you can truly be heard without judgment or embarrassment. The counseling relationship offers a space for connection and warmth, where you can let your guard down and explore some of the deeper layers of your being and your situation. My goal is to help you find your strength, connect to the light inside of you, and to help you discover a path that will take you to the place you’ve always wanted to be.
My therapeutic style involves a belief in you as the expert in your life. I tend to let you take the lead during our conversations and rely on tools to help you gain a deeper understanding of dynamics that may be impacting your current difficulties. I practice therapy in a way that focuses on your unique experiences, creates a sense of warmth and safety, and goes at your own pace.
I enjoy working with clients who have experienced past traumas and are working to understand how those experiences impact their functioning today. I also value supporting LGBTQ clients in navigating stigma, medical transition, and embracing self-love.
